Imaging Services

Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital offer advanced imaging services with board-certified radiologists and interventional radiology specialists who perform imaging studies and therapeutic procedures on an inpatient and outpatient basis for children and adults. Our hospital-based imaging programs are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology in Computed Tomography, Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound, which ensures our commitment to the highest levels of quality and patient safety.

Interventional Radiology Services

Mary Washington Hospital offers the latest in advanced interventional radiology procedures, performed by board-certified interventional radiologists. Many of these procedures have replaced the need for surgery.

Some of the procedures performed in Interventional Radiology include:

  • Venous access (PICC lines, Port-a-cath, Dialysis grafts, etc.)

  • Endovascular Laser Therapy (EVLT)

Scheduling your Procedure with Mary Washington Healthcare

Many general diagnostic x-rays do not require an appointment. All other imaging services and interventional radiology services require an appointment. At the time you schedule your procedure, we will provide you with any instructions regarding preparation.
