Check your private insurance policy to see if your plan covers a "cranial prosthesis" as it may cover the cost a wig. Request a prescription from your doctor for a "cranial prosthesis."
Note: Patients are usually responsible for the immediate cost of a wig and will need to submit a claim to their insurance for reimbursement.
