Dermatologists are medical doctors who specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions and maintaining the health of your skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes. They are also surgeons who help prevent and treat a variety of conditions from aging skin, to moles, unwanted hair and skin cancers.
Skin care: We provide the latest research and innovative products and procedures for skin care needs at every age. We tailor a skin care plan to meet your needs.
Skin checks: Our dermatology professionals can evaluate your skin for skin cancer, sun damage, abnormal moles, bumps, rashes, or other unwanted problems. Our providers are trained in dermatoscopy, the examination of the skin using skin surface microscopy; this is mainly used to evaluate pigmented skin lesions. In experienced hands it can make it easier to diagnose melanoma.
Acne: We provide the latest treatments to help you control breakouts, limit scarring, and more. We offer topical solutions, oral medications, chemical peels, and advice on skin care.
Rosacea: We can help you address the symptoms of rosacea addressing the inflammatory process and redness. We offer state-of-the-art laser therapy for rosacea skin to limit blood vessels and redness.
Our dermatologic surgeons can diagnose and treat both medical and cosmetic conditions relating to the skin. Using a variety of surgical techniques we can help improve your skin appearance and overall health. Our procedures are performed in an outpatient setting.
Skin cancer surgery: Our dermatologic surgeons provide a wide variety of treatments by using minimally invasive techniques to remove skin cancers to include basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma.
Mole removal: We provide safe, professional removal of your mole to reduce the risk for scarring, infection, or the spread of cancerous cells.
Laser: We use innovative laser technology to provide non-invasive skin resurfacing, vein removal, hair removal, and more.
We perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures including Botox, Restylane, soft tissue fillers and provide laser services and skin care. Patients may choose advanced treatment options from routinely simple to complex.
Wrinkle fillers, also known as tissue fillers, are becoming increasingly popular. These injectable gels are made from a variety of different products and placed under the skin to smooth away wrinkles and folds that occur as aging changes your skin by reducing production of hyaluronic acid (HA). Based on your age, skin-type and the areas you’d like to address, Dr. Conologue can help you select the product that will give you the results you want.
While there is no cure for rosacea, innovations in dermatology have led to treatments that can prevent and reduce the acne-like breakouts, reduce redness and the number of flareups. In addition, dermatologists can remove the thickening skin that appears on the bridge of the nose and other parts of the face using laser surgery, dermabrasion or electrocautery. See Dr. Conologue for a consultation and recommendation on how to best control your rosacea symptoms.
Innovations in laser and pulsed light technology are making these non-invasive procedures popular choices for skin resurfacing, skin rejuvenation, treating and removing scars and other blemishes as well as vein and permanent hair removal. Most procedures can be performed on all skin types with minimal to no downtime.
Consider the value of speaking to a dermatological professional who has done the research and performed thousands of procedures when creating your skin care and treatment plan. Our professionals will listen to your goals and help you prioritize to achieve your optimum look by using your resources wisely where they will have the most impact.
