Raushan Abdula, MD

Clinical Cardiologist

Dr. Abdula completed his fellowship at NY Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. His interest is in clinical research, heart failure, cardiovascular disease prevention and cardiovascular imaging.

Dr. Abdula's synergism, patience, compassion, and quality care has not gone unnoticed by peer physicians and medical leadership. For several years in a row, he has received the Northern Virginia Top Doctor award which is granted to physicians for demonstrating clinical excellence while delivering the highest standards of patient care.

Anna T Czajka, MD

Clinical Cardiologist

Dr. Czajka completed her Internal Medicine residency and fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, and an additional Cardiac MRI fellowship at Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. Her areas of interest include valvular heart disease and heart disease in women.

Dr. Czajka, is highly esteemed by not only her patients but also healthcare professionals who consistently applause her for being remarkably attentive and thorough and for maintaining her willingness to be a trusted and dependable specialist.

Micaela Iantorno, MD, MSc, RPVI, FAHA

Interventional Cardiologist and Critical Care Specialist

Dr. Iantorno is board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. She has additional training in peripheral vascular and complex percutaneous coronary interventions. Her determination, hard-work, and pursuit of extensive training compliments her delivery of care with a comprehensive approach and several treatment options.

Together with her husband and three children, she lives in Maryland and enjoys spending time outdoors, being active, cooking, and overall health and wellness. She is a great listener, compassionate, and down to earth. She also speaks Spanish, and fluent Italian.

Ejaz Khan, MD, FHRS, FACC

Electrophysiologist

Dr. Khan is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Electrophysiology. He treats atrial fibrillation (A-fib) using his advanced skills and training in electrophysiology to help restore a normal heart rhythm. In addition to his active interests in clinical research and technology, his areas of expertise and advanced training include common and complex A-fib ablations, lead extraction, and implantation/management of pacemakers.

Dr. Khan is balanced with gentleness and patience yet composed with direct confidence. He enjoys opportunities to educate others and is an excellent listener providing ample time for each patient.

In his spare time, he enjoys bit-coin mining, running, golf, debates and spending time with his wife and three children. In addition to English, Dr. Khan speaks Urdu and Pashtu.

Ashok J Prasad, MD

Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Prasad completed his fellowship at NY Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has been awarded Northern Virginia's Top Doctor awards for five consecutive years. He works extremely hard, is unshakably determined and a strong advocate for patients. Compassion, integrity, wisdom, and humility are at his core, taking the necessary time to educate and get to know each patient and their families. Dr. Prasad, his wife and 4 children live in Fredericksburg and cares deeply about his family. In his personal time, he enjoys literature, reading and writing.

Prithviraj Rai, MD

Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Rai completed his general cardiology fellowship at University of Florida in Jacksonville, FL. He then completed a second fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Tufts University School of Medicine, in Springfield, MA. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology and has been practicing for over 10 years.

Patients, clinical support staff and referring providers attest to his unwavering compassion, dependability, seasoned medical expertise, and thorough communication. He is a seasoned medical expert and is dedicated to fostering a patient-centered relationship built on trust.

Dr. Rai, his wife and two children live in Fairfax. He enjoys engaging conversations, cooking, traveling, and involvement in his children's soccer and track programs. Dr. Rai also speaks Hindi/Urdu and Kannada fluently.

Katherine Perez, AGACNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner

Katherine brings over 16 years of nursing experience managing adult critical care and cardiology patients. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia in 2016 and is a Board-Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Katherine then completed a post graduate Advanced Clinical Practitioner Cardiology Fellowship. She has clinical experience in the specialty of electrophysiology working with implantable devices, diagnosing and managing arrhythmias.

Katherine is a dedicated provider and brings strong clinical judgement to the care of each patient. She believes in a focused holistic clinical approach delivering personalized care tailored to each patient's specific needs.

Christina Ramia, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Christina brings with her over 12 years of nursing experience in critical care specializing in recovery of cardiac surgery, trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery, and post procedural cardiac care. She has a Master of Science in Nursing and is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Christina shares our practice's values in her passion for compassionate patient care and is excellence driven. She is a highly respected nurse for her proven clinical skill, kind-hearted nature and excellent communication skills. Christina works closely with our Physicians while adding a holistic nature of care for patients which is an approach that values additional time and focus on details surrounding a patient's disease.
