Luis A. Guzmán, MD,FACC,FSCAI
Mary Washington Healthcare is delighted to announce the addition of Dr. Luis Guzmán to our Mary Washington Cardiology team. Dr. Guzmán brings a wealth of expertise in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and peripheral vascular disease interventions.
His clinical focus encompasses coronary artery disease, high-risk and complex coronary interventions, and critical limb ischemia. Dr. Guzmán is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and interventional cardiology. He is also a distinguished fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
With a rich background in academic medicine, Dr. Guzmán has served as Faculty and Professor of Medicine at Wake Forest University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the University of Florida. His passion for the academic sphere and dedication to training future generations of medical professionals is evident in his career.

Long wait followed by short visit. Nothing urgent about my health.

Even though this was my first visit with this doctor I was very pleased that he was very patient with me and took the time to show and explain the print-out from the machine. I was really pleased with the first visit.

I was impressed. I mentioned a test result and he immediately went to verify that information as It came from another doctor. He then laid out a path going forward based on that Information. I was Impressed.
