Anna Tomdio, MD,FACC

Dr. Anna Tomdio, a cardiovascular disease specialist and interventional cardiologist, is skilled in the discipline of cardiomyopathy, high cholesterol, and diabetes and specializes in treating heart attacks, congestive heart failure, and valvular heart disease.

Dr. Tomdio earned her medical degree at the Ross University School of Medicine, in Dominica, West Indies. She went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at the Vidant Medical Center/ECU School of Medicine, in Greenville, NC. Dr. Tomdio completed both fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the Medical College of Virginia at VCU Health in Richmond, VA

Dr. Tomdio is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. She is also a board-certified diplomate of adult comprehensive echocardiography and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. She is fluent in French and conversational in Russian. In her free time, Dr. Tomdio likes traveling with her family and exercising, usually training for a race.
