Virginia Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery

You’ll receive comprehensive diagnosis and expert treatment for diseases of the chest from the highly skilled and experienced surgeons at Virginia Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Supported by a cohesive multidisciplinary team, our surgeons are committed to clinical excellence and a holistic approach to your care.

Expect the high level care of a major medical center provided with warm, personal attention to your comfort and unique needs. An emphasis on treatment options and an investment in training and technology means we can offer conventional as well as the latest minimally invasive procedures to tailor treatments to your condition.

Throughout your diagnosis and treatment, you’ll consistently meet with the same caregivers—your surgeon and a multidisciplinary support team—all focused on giving you the best possible care. We also help you gain the skills you need to sustain good health during your recovery and beyond.

While cardiovascular and thoracic care is our passion and what each of our experts has spent years preparing to do, we understand that your introduction to this highly specialized field may have been quite sudden.

If you have questions about your condition or other matters related to your care, we are always available at 540.372.7792.
