By pre-registering ahead of your visit to the hospital, you will save time
by already completing important medical information.
We offer two convenient ways to pre-register:
MyChart (Preferred Method)
Mary Washington Healthcare participates in MyChart, a personalized and
secure online portal to portions of your medical records.
Visit
MyChart.mwhc.com to sign in. Click on the menu and from the Find Care section, select
Register for My Delivery.

Visit our Contact Us form, and select "Labor and Delivery Pre-Registration" under "I
have a question about". Fill out the required fields, and we'll take
care of the rest.
Beginning June 3 and throughout much of the summer, we will be undergoing
renovations to expand our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to enhance
the level of care we provide to our littlest patients. While this expansion
is a positive step towards ensuring top-notch care for newborns in need,
it does necessitate some adjustments to our facilities.
During this time frame, mothers giving birth will be accommodated in a
different unit than our traditional Mother Baby unit. We want to be transparent
about the potential changes you may experience as a result of this temporary
relocation:
Room Size: Please note that the rooms available during this period may be smaller
than our usual accommodations. We understand the importance of comfort
during such a significant time, and we assure you that we are doing everything
possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible within the constraints
of the renovation.
Support Person Accommodations: While we typically provide pull-out couches for support persons in our
Mother Baby unit, we regret to inform you that these may not be available
during the renovation period. We recognize the importance of having your
support person close by and will strive to provide alternative arrangements
to ensure their presence and support throughout your stay.
We understand that these changes may cause some concern or inconvenience,
and we sincerely apologize for any disruption to your birthing experience.
Please know that our priority remains providing exceptional care to you
and your baby during this special time.
