After Jacob and Stacie struggled for years to get pregnant, they were blessed with twin boys. Stacie endured four months of bed rest, but it was at a routine OB appointment at 36 weeks that Stacie’s physician was concerned about her elevated blood pressure, leading to the early delivery of Everett and Oliver at Stafford Hospital. Immediately upon delivery of Oliver, it was clear something was wrong. Jacob and Stacie’s boys would need a higher level of care between Stafford Hospital’s Intermediate Level II Nursery and Mary Washington Hospital’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Ten days later, the boys were discharged from their respective hospitals, then things got real!
