Mary Washington Hospital
MWH is a not-for-profit, 437-bed tertiary acute care medical center that
provides a comprehensive range of health services to the residents of
Fredericksburg and surrounding communities in central Virginia. The services

Stafford Hospital
Stafford Hospital is a not-for-profit, 100-bed community hospital conveniently
located just off of I-95 at the intersection of Route 1 and Courthouse
Road. Accommodations and services offered at Stafford Hospital lead the
region’s largest healthcare system in comfort and the latest technology,
featuring:

Fredericksburg Ambulatory Surgical Center
FASC offers the same sophisticated technology found at Mary Washington
Hospital. Experienced surgeons and anesthesiologists are specially trained
in outpatient procedures and most also practice at Mary Washington Hospital.
They are supported by a highly skilled nursing and clinical staff. Our
surgery center is accredited by the Accreditation Association of Ambulatory
Healthcare.

Mary Washington Hospice
Hospice is a very special kind of care and support service for anyone dealing
with a life-limiting illness. We have learned that the earlier hospice
care begins the more meaningful and beneficial the support is for patients
and their caregivers. Mary Washington Hospice is about helping people
live comfortably with dignity, allowing the patient and family to have
more meaningful days. Not all hospice programs are the same. Mary Washington
Hospice offers:
- Nursing services available on call 24 hours a day, 7 days per week
- Effective pain management, with 98 percent of patients reaching an acceptable
pain level within 48 hours of admission
- Dedicated teams of compassionate professionals trained in end-of-life care
- Complementary alternative therapy services such as art, massage and music therapies

Mary Washington Hospital Home Health has been providing quality home health
services to this region for over 30 years. As a part of Mary Washington
Healthcare, we are held to the highest standards of quality care.
Mary Washington Home Health offers the following in-home care, all managed
by your physician:
- Skilled nurses who work with your doctor to provide comprehensive care
- Rehabilitation services provided by physical, speech, and occupational
therapists
- Registered dietitian to assist with any special dietary needs
- Social workers who can assist with evaluations and identifying community resources
- Dedicated 24 hour phone line for patient and family support
- Home health aides to assist with personal care needs
Regional Cancer Center
The Mary Washington Regional Cancer Center is committed to providing excellence
in cancer care close to home. We offer a full scope of multidisciplinary
services required to screen, diagnose, treat, rehabilitate, educate and
support cancer patients and their families. The Regional Cancer Center’s
offerings include free Cancer Navigator services, stereotactic radiosurgery,
a gynecologic oncologist, and radiation therapy with a RapidArc® linear
accelerator. Patients have convenient access to care at multiple locations
in Fredericksburg and Stafford.
Snowden at Fredericksburg
Snowden at Fredericksburg provides inpatient services for all ages in our
recently expanded, 40-bed community mental health hospital. We also offer
outpatient programs for adolescents and adults. In addition, we treat
substance abuse through an adult intensive outpatient treatment plan.
Heart & Lung Center
The Heart & Lung Center is an innovative concept that combines all
elements of heart and vascular healthcare in one place for a better patient
experience. Experienced physicians and clinicians work as a team to deliver
coordinated, high quality care to patients from the first appointment
through recovery.
Wound Healing Center
The Wound Healing Centers at Mary Washington Healthcare are outpatient
programs dedicated solely to healing patients with difficult wounds. These
may be wounds caused by diabetes, vascular problems, chronic infections,
pressure, minor burns, spider bites or other traumas. The Wound Healing
Centers of Fredericksburg and Woodbridge are among the few places in the
region to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
