Program Overview

The Family Medicine program is built around a “clinic-first model.” Residents will be assigned a standing clinic day that they will maintain throughout their training so that they can cultivate continuity with their clinic patient panel and develop strong outpatient skills. We believe this model perfectly balances clinical care, educational opportunities, and personal well-being since learning is not fractured between rotational responsibilities and clinic duties when you have a reliable clinic schedule. As a PGY-2 and PGY-3 you will have additional time in clinic to help you achieve preparedness for practicing primary care in today’s world.

Doctor and patients

Our rotation block schedule allows for ample exposure to all aspects of medicine necessary for the well-rounded family physician. We offer an abundance of elective time to enable you to tailor your training toward your areas of interest.
