42nd Annual Tree of Lights at MWH

Mary Washington Hospital Auxiliary to Hold 42nd Annual Tree of Lights

WHO: Mary Washington Hospital Auxiliary

WHAT: The Mary Washington Hospital Auxiliary will celebrate the 42nd anniversary of its Tree of Lights program, a holiday tradition that provides community members an opportunity to recognize loved ones, past and present.

For a $20 donation per light, individuals may recognize someone either “In Memory of” or “In Honor of.” The names of those recognized will be published the event program.

Proceeds from this year’s Tree of Lights will support the Auxiliary’s new five-year, $500,000 pledge to the Mary Washington Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

In 2025, the Auxiliary completed its multiyear $2.5 million pledge to the Mary Washington Healthcare Regional Cancer Center. The new NICU pledge continues the Auxiliary’s commitment to supporting patients and families in the community.

WHEN: Thursday, Dec. 10, 2026, at 6 p.m.

To ensure names are included in the program before the tree-lighting ceremony, contributions should be received by Monday, Nov. 30, 2026.
