Patients & Visitors
Please note: When you are in any healthcare facility, you are still required
by law to wear a mask over your nose and mouth, regardless of your vaccination status.
Patients of Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital can expect advanced
care, state-of-the-art facilities, and ease of access. Although we are
part of an extensive not-for-profit regional system with 537 beds, an
unrivaled scope of clinical services, three emergency departments, and
numerous outpatient facilities, we treat you with the same attention and
care as a small community hospital. In fact, that’s how we started
out. For more than 100 years, our hospitals have been serving the communities
around Fredericksburg, Virginia. Today, our mission remains the same,
but our resources and effectiveness have greatly expanded. We are able
to provide healthcare for those who may not otherwise be able to afford
it, through financial assistance options and more.
Patients and visitors alike can expect honest communication and consistency
of service. By making sure our patients are prepared for every step of
their healthcare, we can better serve their needs.
