Dr. Michael Bowen is a fellowship-trained podiatric surgeon with a focus on foot and ankle injuries and conditions. He takes a comprehensive approach to preventing, treating, and managing foot and ankle issues. His solutions range from non-invasive options like custom-made orthotics, bracing, and physical therapy to complex surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques. His ultimate goal is to help patients regain their desired quality of life, whether that means pain-free daily activities or active participation in sports and exercise.

Dr. Bowen completed his surgical residency at St. Vincent's Charity Medical Center in Cleveland and a fellowship in podiatric surgery at Weil Foot, Ankle and Orthopedic Institute in Chicago. He earned his degree in podiatric medicine from Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in Ohio.

The treatment for foot and ankle conditions is determined on a case-by-case basis, considering factors such as the level of pain, its source, and the functioning of the foot or ankle. Non-surgical options may include lifestyle adjustments, injections, medication, orthotics, physical therapy, and splinting. We are here to guide you through your journey to healthier feet and ankles.
