Family members and friends are welcome to visit. However, patient care
comes first at Mary Washington Hospital. That's why specific visiting
regulations have been established for each unit. We will do our best to
accommodate visitors who wish to spend additional time with patients outside
of normal visiting hours.
Following are general guidelines for visitors:
- Visitors must wear shirts and shoes.
- People with colds and any contagious diseases should not visit patients.
- Visitors should keep visits quiet, avoiding any unnecessary noise.
- Visitors are likely to be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments,
or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
- The number of visitors may be limited based on the patient's condition.
- More tips on caring for your loved one in the hospital
campus map will help you locate facilities in and around Mary Washington Hospital.
Open Monday to Sunday: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
In addition to the hospital's cafeteria (lower level of the hospital),
you'll find Au Bon Pain Cafe and a coffee shop that features Starbucks
coffee in the atrium (1st floor).
Our non-denominational chapel is always open, with services offered on
a regular basis.
Parking lots are located throughout the campus, with parking close to all
of our entrances. We also offer a shuttle service to and from all hospital
entrances. Handicapped parking is available at all entrances.
*Valet and shuttle service are temporarily suspended due to COVID-19.
Cell phone use is limited because phones can interfere with medical equipment.
Please look for signs that identify designated cell phone areas.
Mary Washington Hospital's entire campus is tobacco-free inside and out.
All patients, visitors, employees, and physicians must leave the hospital
campus in order to smoke.
