da Vinci Xi is currently being used to support urologists in the treatment of prostate
cancer. One of the most common cancers, prostate cancer can be treated
with full recovery if found in the early stages. This exciting new technology
has also expanded to general surgery, gynecologic surgery, and thoracic surgery.
Urology
The
da Vinci Xi Robot is currently being used to treat the following Urologic Disorders:
- Prostate Cancer
- Bladder Cancer
- Kidney Abnormalities
- Kidney Cancer
Gynecology
The
da Vinci Xi Robot is currently being used to support Gynecologic Surgeons in the treatment of:
- Sacrocolpopexy - repair of a dropped bladder, vagina, or womb
- Hysterectomy - removal of the uterus
General Surgery
The
da Vinci Xi Robot is currently being used to support Surgeons in the treatment of:
Thoracic Surgery
The
da Vinci Xi Robot is currently being used to treat the following pleural space disease
processes:
- Diaphragm paralysis
- Achalasia
- Mediastinal masses
- Esophageal Cancer
- Lung cancer
- Interstitial lung disease
