Dr. Ravula is a board‑certified physician in sleep medicine and family medicine. A committed clinician‑educator, he mentors advanced practice providers and integrates evidence‑based protocols to improve outcomes for patients with obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnia and narcolepsy, parasomnias, and restless legs syndrome.
He completed a sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and a family medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma–Tulsa (Hillcrest Medical Center). Before residency, he earned a Master of Science in Public Health from Missouri State University and his medical degree from Sree Siddhartha Medical College in India.
His scholarly work includes a peer‑reviewed publication on how torso elevation affects minimum effective CPAP settings for obstructive sleep apnea, and he contributes to the field as a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the Virginia Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys camping, traveling, cooking, playing tennis and cricket, reading, and spending time with his family.
