Meredith P. Whittaker, MD
Dr. Whittaker is a board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgeon specializing in benign and malignant diseases of the breast. Her clinical interests include oncoplastic and minimally invasive techniques to treat breast cancer, nipple sparing mastectomy, hidden scar surgery, and aesthetic flat closure. She completed undergraduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Subsequently, she attended Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia followed by General Surgery Residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ. She then completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD.
Dr. Whittaker is an active member of several esteemed organizations, serving on committees for both The American Society of Breast Surgeons and American Medical Women’s Association.
Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys being outdoors, reading non-fiction, and traveling.

Everyone was attentive and courteous. Dr Whittaker is fabulous and I would highly recommend her to anyone who may need her services!

Wes was great at communicating. Staff were gracious and appreciative that I had filled out the registration materials before hand online. And check-in was very quick since I had already paid the co-pay electronically before the appointment. Dr. Whitaker is excellent and thorough. I was delayed in seeing her for an annual visit because I had not reached out to her and her office had moved. In the future, if an annual appointment can't be scheduled that far in advance (But I was able to book my 2027 appointment already at the visit, which is great!), it would be great if they reached out to patients to remind them to book their annual check up. The new office location is wonderful: bright, clean and updated!
