Manan Mehta, MD

Dr. Mehta is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology, holding certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his training at a nationally renowned cancer care institution and has a rich history as an investigator in numerous clinical trials. Dr. Mehta has also taken on leadership roles, serving as chairman for the Research Oversight Committee and the Cancer Committee at a prestigious tertiary care center. With close to two decades of experience, he has developed a wealth of expertise in hematology and oncology, allowing him to address complex and challenging cases within the community.

Dr. Mehta is the visionary founder of Virginia Oncology Care, which has now evolved into Mary Washington Medical Oncology. His decision to relocate to East Coast with his family was driven by a deep desire to make a meaningful impact in the underserved Rappahannock region. With firsthand experience of cancer affecting his own immediate family, he carries a personal mission and commitment to vigorously advocate for each and every patient.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Mehta finds solace in travel adventures alongside his wife and their two children. He also places great value on quality time spent with cherished friends and family.
