Lisa Grant-McDonald, DPM

Lisa Grant-McDonald, DPM, is a foot and ankle surgeon with Mary Washinton Orthopedics in affiliation with FOA. Dr. Grant focuses on adult foot and ankle concerns, including reconstruction, limb deformity, diabetic foot care and limb salvage. She has advanced fellowship training in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, with a special interest in external fixation and limb deformity correction.

Dr. Grant completed a 12-month reconstructive rearfoot and ankle fellowship through the St. Francis Hospital System after completing a 36-month reconstructive rearfoot and ankle-certified residency with the Western Pennsylvania Hospital Foot and Ankle Department. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University and holds a Bachelor of Science in biology, with a minor in biochemistry, from Old Dominion University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in stem cell and regenerative medicine at Old Dominion University.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Grant has served as fellowship director for the Eastern Virginia Adult Reconstruction and Limb Salvage Program. She is board certified in foot surgery and rearfoot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking and painting with watercolors.
