Fellowship Eligibility

To qualify for the MWHC Gastroenterology Fellowship, you must:

• Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Have completed a three-year internal medicine residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia medical license
• Eligible for board certification in Internal Medicine
• Have a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration Number that allows you to write prescriptions
• Eligible to work in the United States/J-1 visas accepted

Submit your application by October 10.

Interview Dates

Interviews will occur between October 1 – 24.

Notification Date

You can expect to hear from us the first week of November.
