Fellowship Eligibility
To qualify for the MWHC Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, you must:
- Hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Have completed a three-year internal medicine residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia medical license
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Have a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration Number that allows you to write prescriptions
