Mary Washington Healthcare is proud to have three fellowship programs.
The Family Medicine OB Fellowship aims to enhance advanced obstetric and women’s health skills in family medicine physicians, preparing them for comprehensive reproductive and maternity care, especially in underserved and rural areas. Fellows will gain expertise in clinical care, education, and leadership, preparing for independent practice in diverse settings.
Cardiovascular disease fellows will gain exceptional exposure to both inpatient and critical care cardiology as well as ambulatory cardiovascular management. Our program is uniquely positioned to offer hands-on experience with a wide array of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. Fellows will train with cutting-edge technologies including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI.
The Gastroenterology Fellowship Program offers an opportunity for fellows to receive hands-on, comprehensive training in both inpatient and outpatient GI and liver care. With a focus on procedural expertise, clinical judgment, and academic development, the program provides fellows with advanced training in techniques such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). Fellows will benefit from personalized mentorship, diverse clinical experiences, and opportunities for research, preparing them to excel in both clinical practice and academic settings.
