Our didactic curriculum is carefully designed to provide comprehensive education that aligns with the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) content outline while also preparing residents for the evolving demands of clinical practice.
Weekly protected didactic sessions include a dynamic mix of faculty-led lectures, case-based discussions, simulation training, and problem-based learning modules. The curriculum is organized into structured blocks that rotate through all major topics outlined by the ABA.
In addition to ABA-focused content, our program goes beyond the board requirements to incorporate emerging topics in anesthesiology, such as point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), quality improvement, wellness, leadership, and health equity. We also integrate journal clubs, and morbidity and mortality lectures, mock oral board exams, and high-yield review sessions to help residents excel on both written and oral board exams.
Our goal is to create an engaging and supportive educational environment that fosters lifelong learning and clinical excellence.
