Terry C. Hoffman, DO

Terry Hoffman, DO, is a core faculty member of the Anesthesiology Residency Program at Mary Washington Healthcare. Dr. Hoffman received his medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of Missouri.

Board-certified in Anesthesiology, he has clinical interests in regional anesthesia. Dr. Hoffman is actively involved in medical education, teaching, and mentoring residents, with a focus on regional anesthesia and POCUS.

In addition to clinical and academic responsibilities, Dr. Hoffman serves on several institutional committees, including the Program Evaluation Committee, Anesthesia Steering Committee, and holds leadership roles such as the Anesthesia Chair of Endoscopy Committee and the Chair of Sedation Committee both at Mary Washington Hospital. He is also an active member of professional organizations like the Virginia Society of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Outside of work, Dr. Hoffman lives in Fredericksburg with his wife and golden retriever, Tuck. He enjoys golf, fishing, skiing, hunting, hiking, and traveling with his wife.
