Suna Soguktas, MD
Dr. Soguktas is double board-certified in Family Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology and will be the Faculty Director of the new Family Medicine OB Fellowship Program. She has extensive experience providing comprehensive care, including managing labor and delivery, performing vaginal births and C-sections, and offering a full range of gynecologic services.
Her medical journey began with a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Zeynep Kamil Hospital in Turkey, where she dedicated eight years to serving rural and underserved communities as an attending physician. To further broaden her expertise, she pursued a Family Medicine residency at Sparrow/MSU, where she took on a leadership role as Chief of the OB Trackers Committee and played a key role in training residents in Obstetric Ultrasound.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Soguktas is passionate about cultural exploration, humanitarian efforts, and community service. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and listening to music. Most importantly, she cherishes time with her family, which serves as her greatest source of inspiration and joy.
