Dr. Mussey is a board-certified internal medicine physician with nearly 30 years’ experience practicing internal medicine in the Fredericksburg region. Prior to his coming to Fredericksburg, Dr. Mussey was the Chief of Internal Medicine at Whiteman Air Force Hospital, Whiteman Air Force Base in Johnson County, Missouri. In addition, Dr. Mussey served his country as part of the Internal Medicine Team, 870th Contingency Hospital during Operation Desert Storm.
In his free time, Dr. Mussey enjoys drawing and animating cartoons, hiking with his wife, searching for antiques and attending Weird Al and Devo concerts with their kids.

He is retiring next month. I will miss him as he has been my doctor for years.

The office visit was excellent. This was my last visit with Dr. Mussey and I was very disappointed about his retirement. He was one of a very few doctors that took excellent care of all of his patients , calling in prescriptions, giving good advice, taking phone calls and returning phone calls. These are just a few of the great things Dr. Mussey has always done. They do not make doctors like this any more. He was one of the best, . And still is, one of his kind . I and many others will really miss him. THANK YOU DR>.MUSSEY

Dr Mussey has been my primary care physician for over 20years. His retirement will leave a great void in MWHC and his leaving will definitely affect his patients.ay need to start looking at other providers.
