Dr. Mussey is a board-certified internal medicine physician with nearly 30 years’ experience practicing internal medicine in the Fredericksburg region. Prior to his coming to Fredericksburg, Dr. Mussey was the Chief of Internal Medicine at Whiteman Air Force Hospital, Whiteman Air Force Base in Johnson County, Missouri. In addition, Dr. Mussey served his country as part of the Internal Medicine Team, 870th Contingency Hospital during Operation Desert Storm.
In his free time, Dr. Mussey enjoys drawing and animating cartoons, hiking with his wife, searching for antiques and attending Weird Al and Devo concerts with their kids.

Dr Mussey has been my primary care physician for over 20years. His retirement will leave a great void in MWHC and his leaving will definitely affect his patients.ay need to start looking at other providers.

Doctor Mussey has consitently given my wife and I excellent health care and health care advice in all the years we have had him as a physician. He has always directed us and gotten back to us with concerns in a timely fashion. He will be greatly missed.

Dr Mussey is an outstanding doctor. He will be missed after his retirement. I hope that the next doctor that I am assigned will be as great as Dr Mussey.
