Sharon Shaw, MD
Dr. Shaw completed her undergraduate degree in computer science at the College of William and Mary. After a few years of computer consulting work, she attended medical school at the University of Virginia, then pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
She has had the opportunity to work in private practices, urgent care, and more recently in COVID response efforts for the Virginia Department of Health. She lives in Richmond with her husband, who is a pediatrician with the VCU Health system. She has three young adult children.

My son goes to see Dr. Shaw and we love her. We always have a wonderful experience with her and we plan to go to Dr. Shaw for a long time.

Dr. Shaw interacted very well w/my son. She was informed and offered a treatment plan. She supported the decision to follow up w/a specialist. Dr. Shaw was sympathetic and offered sound advice to my son for his condition.
