Richard Erwin, MD, received his Doctor of Medicine from Marshall University School of Medicine and completed his Pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Erwin especially loves caring for children and interacting with their parents and families. Active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Dr. Erwin served as a youth basketball coach for several years and is a fan of the NFL and the NCAA March Madness. He enjoys playing basketball, flag football, and visiting family in Virginia and Boston.

Dr. Erwin has always been thoughtful and thorough during every medical visit we have ever had. We appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond for our children and to provide them with great care. We feel he truly cares about our kids.

Love this office. Love the front staff. Love the nurses and all of the providers that we have seen (Dr. Kelly, Dr. Erwin, & Dr. Ryland). I'm so glad I chose them as our son's pediatrician. They've always been available & so kind when helping us with whatever he has needed since he was born. Thank you all!

Doctor Erwin is a PHENOMENAL provider! As a first time mom, he has always reassured us and always takes his time to care for our son. He is great with our kiddo, and he just radiates love for his job. I'm beyond grateful to have him as our son's doctor and will continue to recommend him to others.
