Muhammad Shamim, DO
Dr. Muhammad Shamim is a board-certified physician specializing in rheumatology. He completed advanced training in rheumatology at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, following his internal medicine residency at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio.
Dr. Shamim earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia and graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech with degrees in Economics and Biological Sciences.
He is passionate about improving patient care through research and education. His work includes studies on osteoporosis screening and autoimmune conditions such as lupus and vasculitis, with findings shared at major medical conferences.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shamim enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and watching soccer.
Dr. Shamim’s goal is simple: to provide compassionate, personalized care that helps patients live their best lives.

My visit yesterday was the best at a doctors office in years. The staff was great. The nurse was amazing and playful and the doctor was great. He listened, explained everything to me, asked great questions and made me feel at ease. I was in the back earlier than my appointment time and I was in and out with very little wait time. It was a great experience. I wish all doctors offices was like this one!!
