Michelle Goldman, MSN,FNP-C

Michelle Goldman is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a strong background in women’s health and more than a decade of experience caring for patients during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. She is passionate about supporting maternal well‑being before and after delivery and is committed to providing respectful, compassionate care to every patient.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Michelle worked for 10 years as a labor and delivery nurse in Oklahoma, Alaska, and Virginia. During that time, she cared for patients with both routine and high‑risk pregnancies and worked closely with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, patient‑centered care. Her clinical experience has shaped her focus on listening carefully, educating patients, and helping families feel informed and supported throughout their care.

Michelle earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from George Mason University. She is especially interested in improving maternal health outcomes and addressing implicit bias in women’s healthcare. She is also continuing to strengthen her Spanish‑language skills to better serve a diverse patient population.

Earlier in her career, Michelle worked as a biologist and environmental analyst and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Philippines. Those experiences deepened her appreciation for community‑focused care and lifelong learning.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys hiking, spending time with her husband and two sons, visiting the Outer Banks, reading and listening to audiobooks, birdwatching, and traveling.
