Lisanne Christin Anders, MD
Dr. Anders joined the practice in September 2020. She earned her MD from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She received several research awards, including the Emerging Liver Scholar Research Award.
Dr. Anders specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including EGD, colonoscopy, and video capsule endoscopy. She has a special interest in gastrointestinal motility disorders and gut-brain interaction disorders (DGBIs), with expertise in high-resolution esophageal and anorectal manometry. She also completed specialized training in motility and DGBI disorders at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Anders is credentialed with most insurance plans and holds privileges at Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford Hospital, and the Fredericksburg Endoscopy Center.
