Dr. Thott is taking new gynecology and urogynecology patients.
Dr. Thott is set apart by his special focus on urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery, earning him recognition for his stellar laparoscopic skills from both the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS).
As the founder of the not-for-profit Women's Surgical Institute, Dr. Thott is on a mission to train surgeons worldwide in minimally invasive surgery. Since 2009, he's been the Chief of OB/GYN at Stafford Hospital, actively contributing to various committees and boards at Mary Washington Healthcare. He also travels nationally and internationally to share his expertise and train surgeons in the art of laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Thott is accredited by the Surgical Review Corporation as a Master Surgeon in Robotic Surgery, and is an integral part of the COEMIG program at Stafford Hospital.
When it comes to serving the women's health and surgical needs of Stafford, Dr. Thott is the go-to expert. He holds the title of the highest volume minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon in the region.

He addressed my concerns and he will plan a treatment for me down the line once I'm healed. This has given me so much peace of mind, I was referred to him for his expertise as my previous OBGYN didn't feel comfortable with my medical case. So far I'm so very happy with my treatment and im.so happy I finally see relief from years of pain.

I was very scared as I have been dealing with this issues for many years, it was very reasuring to my husband and I to feel vamidated by Doctor Thott that my suffering is explainable and that surgery will address part of not all the problem, I feel confident in his ability to help me to the best of his ability and so did the gynecologist that referred me to him. While they could have done my surgery, it gives me peace of mind knowing a colegue recognices a follow surgeon experience and this is why im confident im in good hands.
