Kathryn Nesmith, MSN,FNP-C

KT Nesmith is a Family Nurse Practitioner who holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Sentinel School of Nursing at Post University. She is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

With over 17 years of experience in acute care nursing, KT has worked across a broad range of clinical environments, including medical-surgical units, intermediate care, post-anesthesia recovery, and intensive care. This diverse background has shaped her comprehensive and evidence-based approach to patient care.

KT believes in a healthcare philosophy that is patient-focused, compassionate, and holistic. She emphasizes the importance of building trust with patients and supporting their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Outside of her professional role, KT is a dedicated mother of five and a proud grandmother to three. She is an adventurer at heart, she loves hunting, snowboarding and horseback riding. She also enjoys life on her farm, where she finds joy in caring for her animals and living simply.
