Jameel Shareef, DO
Dr. Shareef joined the practice in October 2023. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Kent Hospital/Brown University in Rhode Island.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Shareef is skilled in upper endoscopy (EGD), variceal banding, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, video capsule endoscopy, and Fibroscan liver elastography. His practice includes colon cancer screening, GI bleeding, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.
Dr. Shareef is credentialed with most insurance plans and sees patients in Fredericksburg and Stafford. He performs procedures at the Fredericksburg Endoscopy Center, Mary Washington Hospital, and Stafford Hospital.

I haven't had a lot of interaction with Dr. Shareef yet. This was a follow-up to a procedure he performed in June. My previous interaction was somewhat brief, on the day of the procedure. I'm satisfied with his care so far.

I first saw Dr. Kim and he was especially helpful for my complaint and explained every option for me. I was really impressed with his professionalism and care for me as a patient.
