Erin Ashenburg, AGACNP-BC

Erin Ashenburg is an adult‑gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who cares for people with complex heart conditions, with a special interest in structural heart disease and heart failure. She believes in clear, compassionate communication and partners closely with patients and families to listen and explain options and create treatment plans that fit real life.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Erin spent almost a decade caring for cardiac patients in intensive care and step‑down settings, experience that shaped her calm, team‑based approach at the bedside. She is comfortable supporting patients with advanced heart‑support therapies and devices and brings that experience to every visit.

Erin earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and is board certified as an AGACNP‑BC.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, and reading, catching live music, and spending time with her family.
