Ellen E. Hammett, MD,FACOG

Dr. Ellen Hammett earned her Doctor of Medicine at Virginia Tech - Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia with an additional concentration in Translational Medicine Research. She then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Virginia Tech - Carilion Clinic where she received a recognition of excellence in minimally invasive gynecology surgery.

Dr. Hammett is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She performs both laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She holds certifications in the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System and Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery.
