Elizabeth A. Bird, DNP,RN,FNP-C,PLNC,CMSRN

Elizabeth is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in the cardiovascular field, managing acute and chronic illness, and cardiac preventive medicine. She brings over two decades of nursing experience specializing in critical care, cardiac step-down, neurology, and general medicine.

Elizabeth earned her master's in nursing from Chamberlain University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Grand Canyon University, where she completed her final capstone project on reducing the 30-day readmission rates in the heart failure population to improve the patient's quality of life and decrease the risk of mortality associated with 30-day readmissions.

Elizabeth is also an Adjunct Professor of Nursing at the Pre-License level and a Legal Nurse Consultant. Elizabeth is a dedicated healthcare professional focused on providing evidence-based care in a holistic manner.

She lives in Fredericksburg with her husband and enjoys reading, traveling, and giving back to her community.
