Cheryl Ashanti, PA-C
Cheryl Ashanti, PA-C joined the practice in June 2024, after relocating to Fredericksburg from Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked as a Physician Assistant for over twenty years. Cheryl received her bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Cheryl sees patients in both our Fredericksburg and Stafford office locations and provides periodic coverage of the Gastroenterology inpatient service at Mary Washington and Stafford Hospitals. Cheryl works most closely with Dr. Peter Wong, serving as a key member of Dr. Wong’s care team, though she will see patients in support of any gastroenterology physician as needed.
