Brittany Wiseman Shenk, PA-C
Brittany is originally from the area and grew up in Spotsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at James Madison University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences with minors in Biology and Medical Spanish.
She briefly moved back to the area after college while preparing to apply for PA school and worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Kurian Thott, with whom she now practices. Brittany studied at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC and received her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies in 2019. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Brittany enjoys getting to know her patients and seeing women throughout different stages of their life. She values making her patients feel truly heard and providing education, subsequently empowering them to make the best decision for their health with her guidance.
In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, family, friends, and pets (a cat, 2 dogs, and 3 goats). Brittany and her husband are currently expecting their first child.

We are requested to come in 15 mins. Early and then we end up waiting another 30 minutes to be called. This needs to be corrected.

Everyone is very pleasant and accommodating.There was a bit of a wait only in the waiting room but was apologized for more than once and I was thanked for my patience. Usually they are very prompt.

I will be crushed if Brittany ever leaves. I will pay out of pocket to follow her if she did. She has always taken my health and concerns very seriously, to include further investigating when things didn't add up. She remembers me, she listens, she genuinely cares. Providers like her are a rare treasure.
