Aryles Hedjar, MD, is a board-certified internist by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his doctor of medicine degree at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, in Norfolk, VA, and completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, in Manhasset/New Hyde Park, NY.

Dr. Hedjar has contributed to several research projects and case reports in the fields of hematology and oncology. His work includes a 2019 case report on pancytopenia and thrombotic microangiopathy in B12 deficiency, and an ongoing study on ctDNA dynamics in metastatic pancreatic cancer, with anticipated publication in 2024.

In addition to his medical career, Dr. Hedjar has diverse personal interests. He has played the clarinet for 11 years, enjoys learning trivia, and is passionate about traveling, hiking, and biking. He also has proficiency in French and some knowledge of Spanish and Berber.

    I love the doctor, nurses and receptionists very much. They work well together, stepping in to help one another. I'm very pleased with the service and glad to be in care of such an awesome team. Chemo is a hard medicine to receive but, just having their concern and support makes it much easier.
