Anh Butz, MD, is a board-eligible physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with experience providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Previously, Dr. Butz was an attending physician at Kaiser Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, and worked at Elite Women’s Health, in Fredericksburg, VA, where she performed a broad scope of clinical duties, including office visits, labor and delivery, and surgeries.
Dr. Butz earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center. She holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a double Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Neuroscience from Yale University, graduating magna cum laude.
Dr. Butz is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has been recognized for her academic and clinical achievements, including the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Residency Award for Excellence in Obstetrics. Her research has been published in respected journals, and she has presented at national conferences, further establishing her as a leader in both clinical care and scientific inquiry.

Dr Burz is excellent. Never rushed. Thoroughly and thoughtfully explains suggestions and plan forward. She's personable and comforting during entire interaction. Stays up to date on new research which I appreciate. Best of all, she does not hand wave off symptoms like other providers. She takes you seriously and is empathetic in the process. Overall fantastic provider.
