Anh Butz, MD, is a board-eligible physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with experience providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Dr. Butz earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center. She holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a double Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Neuroscience from Yale University, graduating magna cum laude.
Dr. Butz is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has been recognized for her academic and clinical achievements, including the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Residency Award for Excellence in Obstetrics. Her research has been published in respected journals, and she has presented at national conferences, further establishing her as a leader in both clinical care and scientific inquiry.

Both Dr. Butz and her assistant took the time to listen and respond to my concerns. It was the initial visit with this practice and that was appreciated.

Dr. Butz delivered me and this was my 6 week follow up. I unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to see her in office for any prenatal care. I had a horrible office experience until I met Dr. Butz at the hospital when I had to be emergently induced for preeclampsia. She is phenomenal. So knowledgeable and gets on your level to look you in the eyes to explain your options. She never made me feel discouraged and even shared her personal experiences with pregnancy and postpartum to validate me. I would only go back to Mary Wash if she was my provider and I plan too. She saved my experience with Mary Wash and I'm so grateful her care!

Provider was great. The facility fees at Mary Washington are ridiculous.
