Amanda Coon, FNP-C

Amanda Coon, FNP‑C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who cares for patients with compassion, clear communication, and a focus on helping each person understand their options. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Amanda spent years in the operating room supporting cardiothoracic and vascular procedures and coordinating surgical teams—experience she brings to every visit to help patients feel prepared and confident about their care.

Amanda completed her Master of Science in Nursing—Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University. Her nursing journey began locally, caring for patients in medical‑surgical and perioperative settings, and grew into leadership roles supporting complex surgical care across Mary Washington Healthcare. 

Outside of work, Amanda loves spending time with her three children and cheering them on in all their activities.
