Adeline C. Viyuoh, MD

Dr. Adeline C. Viyuoh is a highly skilled internist and primary care physician with over 20 years of experience in various healthcare settings. She previously served as a primary care physician at INOVA Internal Medicine in Alexandria, VA, and worked as a preceptor and assistant professor for UVA medical students.

Dr. Viyuoh’s career includes a wide range of roles, including hospitalist positions with Eagle Physicians and Triad Hospitalists in Greensboro, NC, and a primary care physician role with Kaiser Permanente in Fredericksburg, VA. She has a strong background in community health, having volunteered for medical missions in Haiti and participated in various health fairs and service activities throughout her career.

Dr. Viyuoh holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency at Meharry Medical College. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has maintained her certification through recertification and the ABIM longitudinal knowledge assessment pathway. In addition she has special interest in obesity management and is a diplomate in Obesity Medicine, board certified via The American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to patient care, community service, and education. Dr. Viyuoh has been involved in numerous committees, including the Fredericksburg Kaiser Permanente Diabetes & Osteoporosis Champion, and has contributed to research in hormone-dependent growth and adrenal insufficiency.

She is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Society of Virginia.
