Joanne Huber-Sturans is the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Mary Washington Healthcare. In this role, Joanne oversees all aspects of Human Resources Strategy and Operations, Talent Management and Development, Employee Health and Wellness and Volunteer Services.

Prior to joining Mary Washington Healthcare, Joanne was with Garnet Health and previously worked with Phelps Memorial Hospital/Northwell Health in New York overseeing Human Resources and other operational areas.

Joanne received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Marist College and her Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Mercy College. Joanne holds certifications as a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources through the Society for Human Resources (SHRM-SCP) and as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute.
