Tedla Tessema, MD

Dr. Tessema is board-certified in general surgery, and surgical critical care. He earned his medical degree at the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas de Santiago de Cuba. He completed his residency at Washington (D.C.) Hospital Center, as well as fellowships in surgical critical care and trauma surgery at the University of Miami JMH/Ryder Trauma Center. He has special interests in complex hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction.
