Future Healthcare Providers Program
Mary Washington Healthcare hosted the Virtual Future Healthcare Providers Program during the 2020/2021 school year. The program introduced high school and college students, and recent graduates, to the diverse career opportunities within Mary Washington Healthcare. Each event included a panel of MWHC experts discussing career pathways, requirements and qualifications, salary expectations. In addition, there is a brief video to give students a peek at what happens within their respective departments and a Q&A session from students.
The departments featured include Radiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing, Pediatrics, NICU, Respiratory Therapy, Clinical Research, Trauma, EMS, Emergency Department, Technology in Healthcare & Robotic Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy, Cardiology, and Cardiac Surgery.
