Senior Vice President of Clinical Integration for Mary Washington Health Alliance
Travis Turner, MBA RT (R) (CIIP) is currently the Senior Vice President
of Clinical Integration for Mary Washington Health Alliance in Fredericksburg,
Virginia. Mr. Turner oversees executive responsibilities that include
strategic planning, development, and implementation of Population Health
Management (PHM) strategies for the Alliance
Under Mr. Turner’s leadership, the Alliance has experienced improved
levels of quality reporting and lowered cost trends each year. The Alliance
has achieved $3.5 and $3.7 million in savings for our Medicare Share Shared
Savings program, while successfully reporting quality (PQRS) values on
behalf of nearly 400 Providers in over 100 separate TINs for two consecutive
years (2015 and 2016). He has operationalized continued success within
the Bundled Payment Program which has achieved over $5 million of cumulative
savings in its first year. Mr. Turner is committed to the transition to
value based care, through the Alliance’s established partnership
between local providers, Mary Washington Healthcare, and community stakeholders.
Most recently, Mr. Turner served as the Executive Director of Clinical
Integration at Cayuga Medical Center where he focused on providing support
to the health system regarding the development of ACO/CIN strategies,
implementation of Patient Centered Medical Home formal certifications,
and performance-based contracting with local employers, universities and
government. Cayuga Area Physicians Alliance (representing over 180 physicians)
and Cayuga Medical Center sought ‘informal approval’ from
the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) under Mr. Turner’s guidance,
which allowed for the implementation of a successful Clinical Integration
Program (CIP). Prior to this role he served as Administrative Director
of Radiology at Catskill Regional Medical Center where he led the digital
transformation of PACS to be the first in the region.
Travis is married to Kimmarie Turner and is a proud father of two children.
When not working he enjoys Ironman triathlons and competed in the 2016
Ironman World Championships.
