Dale Pcsolyar, MD
Dr. Dale W. Pcsolyar is board-certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Most recently he was certified as a multiple sclerosis specialist (MSCS) by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. He is a fellow and diplomate of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM). In addition, he is a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine and in neurosonology by the American Society of Neuroimaging.
He has served as Medical Director of the Neurodiagnostic lab at Mary Washington Hospital and as Director of the ICAVl-certified Cerebrovascular Lab of Fredericksburg. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Heart Association- Stroke Council and the American Headache Society. In addition, he is a long-standing member of the AMA, Virginia Medical Society and Virginia Neurological Society. He is recognized as a Top Doctor by Northern Virginia Magazine.
Dr. Pcsolyar has 15 years’ experience programming Deep Brain Stimulators (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease and Essential Tremor, as well as Vagal nerve stimulators (VNS) for intractable Epilepsy. In addition, he administers therapeutic Botox for movement disorders, spasticity and chronic migraine. He has 30 years of experience performing EMG/NCV studies, as well as managing multiple sclerosis, migraine headaches and performing assessments for stroke risk prevention.
