Mary Washington Healthcare Spirit of Women Awards
Is there an exceptional woman in your school who is helping to improve
the lives of youth and families in your community? Honor her with a nomination
for the regional Spirit of Women Award. This annual awards program, through
Mary Washington Healthcare, honors ordinary women who selflessly provide
extraordinary service to benefit their communities.
Recognize the unsung heroes at your school with a nomination in any or
all of these three categories:
Spirit of Women Teacher of the Year: an award for one of our area’s best educators. Nominate a teacher
who inspires her students and shares her time and talent beyond school
hours to help students, families and other community members in need.
Spirit of Women School Nurse of the Year: an award recognizing excellence and innovation in school nursing. Nominate
a school nurse who takes the lead to help her school and school district
create a culture of wellness that benefits students and staff. Her efforts
have an impact on families, community and the lives of others.
Spirit of Women Youth of the Year: an award to honor a young woman (ages 14-18) who represents the best of
future generations. Nominate a young woman who is selfless in the classroom
and uses her talents to benefit her classmates and community.
Nominations for the 2017 Spirit of Women Awards have closed. Winners will be surprised during a special assembly or event at their school
in June 2017.
